Good Morning. It's Friday 25th November, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

Leeds linked with €100m Brazilian forward

Media reports from Brazil are suggesting that Leeds could be lining up a bid for Flamengo star Pedro. With 29 goals and 10 assists this year alone, the versatile forward has attracted the attention of a host of top European clubs.

Pedro has a €100m (£86m) release clause; it seems ludicrous that we would splash out £86m, when we refused to pay half that for Gakpo. Although exciting to watch, the Brazilian League (Brasileiro Série A) is ranked only eighth in the World, only two places higher than the English Championship. He has two Brazilian Caps to his name, but is hoping for more game time during the World Cup.

De Ketelaere needs time to adjust

Elland Road chiefs have asked their AC Milan counterparts to keep them informed of their intentions regarding Charles De Ketelaere. The 21yo is clearly out of his depth at the San Siro, having failed to score in 27 appearances in all competitions this season, yet Sporting Director Paolo Maldini believes De Ketelaere just needs time to adjust to life with the Italian Champions.

"He is suffering, it is a different environment with different pressures,” he said, as reported by Sempre Milan. “He has more knowledge than before. We signed a five-year contract with Charles not five months, we are waiting for him, just as we are waiting for [Divock] Origi. They have everything to be decisive. We have had many examples of players who took a while to understand what is needed to play at Milan.”

Marsch isn't going to be around forever

Former Leeds and England keeper Paul Robinson has warned Leeds about signing too many former Jesse Marsch's players, especially if they're American, insisting the ER gaffer isn't going to be around forever. Marsch had been heavily criticised during the Summer for being linked, and buying players he already had an association with, yet all his Summer buys have been a success thus far.

“I was surprised that Brenden Aaronson didn’t start. “I’m glad that Tyler Adams got the captaincy, though, taking it off Pulisic and gave the players a vote so it shows what standing Adams has in the dressing room. “I think you’ve just got to be careful of signing too many of the manager’s former players, or a better phrase, too many American players because he’s not going to be there forever to a certain level, so I’d be reluctant.”

Great were being linked with an 86m player. Sneaky feeling that one might fall through on last day of transfer windows. Don't see the problem with signing USA players as if they're good enough they'll be able to play under other coaches too. Anyway average coach only stays a couple of years at a club at best whereas players contracts are 5 years seemingly

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

Firstly on Pedro forget the clickbait price and think about his actual value which is estimated at only £20m. His contract expires in 2025 but his club need cash and he wants out of Brazil. The story goes we looked at trying to do a deal in the summer but Flamengo quoted the buy out clause price which is unrealistic for any club including Liverpool who also looked at him before getting Nunez. The feeling is he will be allowed to leave for a price between £25m-£30m, but what the truth is in this story?

CDK is turning into Che Adams and Ryan Kent. Yes we tried and we failed and even if CDK has flopped at AC Milan he isnt going to want to come to Leeds on loan when he could get a gig in Italy….. wasn’t that the reason he went to Italy over sunny Leeds

    Morning all

Just reading about Augustin, we have to pay 21m Euro in three instalments. The judge said this is a case between Leeds and RB any other legalities should require a separate case.

Now we’ve been found guilty, Augustin has a strong case to claim breach of contract and lost wages. Leeds were confident they’d win so nothing is in place regarding him joining another club. The feeling is it could cost us another 21million

Rads seems to like trying to wriggle out of deals. The Chinese are after him for a lot more than that. He got Leeds on the cheap and let Orta loose with the cash. They both need to go and now we know why Orta was chanting sack the board trying to deflect from what was coming.

One things for sure, unless the 49ers are lining the full take over up, we’ve no chance of signing three new first team players yet alone someone in excess of £80m. We’re not going to break much into £20m unless someone’s willing to pay over the top for Harrison, James, Bamford, Llorente or Firpo

Was Mrs Eire positively encouraging with your project to build a man cave? Asking for a friend!

If I’m being honest she had her reservations let’s say. Think she’s warmed to it as it means she sees far less of me. Is your friend thinking of applying for planning oermission

No mate, we don't have planning oermission over here after Brexit.

I think the reasoning was, how would she cope without your sunny outlook on life while you are busy playing pool and drinking beer? :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:
