Good Morning. It's Friday 18th March, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

Koch's comments deliberately taken out of context during Sky Interview

Robin Koch's recent interview with Sky Sports Deutschland has been taken completely out of context by some sections of the media, looking to deliberately latch on to an innocent comment, and deliberately mislead Leeds fans.

The German International defender was criticised on social media yesterday after being quoted as saying he wouldn't rule out a return to the Bundesliga. What actually happened was Koch was asked if there was a chance that someday, he may return to the German top flight, to which he replied ''I'm not really thinking about that at the moment. But I don't want to rule it out."

That's not all! Koch repeatedly insisted that Leeds would not get relegated. Even when Florian Plettenberg (journalist) tried to trick him by asking if he would 'go to League 2 (meaning the Championship) with Leeds', he was told ''We don't go to the second division".

Having read the whole article, it is clear that Robin Koch is 100 percent committed to the Leeds cause, and focused on helping Leeds stay up. It's sad the length's some will go to, for a cheap headline. Here are the snippets that matter:-

Why are Leeds staying up? ''Because we have enough quality in the team, we fit together perfectly as a team and we stand together. I am confident that we will make it despite the not easy remaining program.''

Would he go to League Two with Leeds? ''We don't go to the second division. I'm pretty sure we'll stay in there with this team."

Is his contract valid for the English second division? ''Yes.''

Does he hold it then? ''We're not going down. And if so, then I believe that the team will stand together. We agree that we'll go down together then."

Someday return to the Bundesliga? ''I'm not really thinking about that at the moment. But I don't want to rule it out."

Leeds star Raphinha: ''He's a great technician, you can see that on the pitch. In addition, he has an enormous speed. That's not a bad combination for a footballer. It's fun to watch him. A great kicker. He fits in with many teams because he brings a lot with him."

Everton move to within a point of Leeds after late show

Newcastle Utd were left shell shocked after Everton stole the show with a late winner, deep into stoppage time last night. Toffee's winger Alex Iwobe 99th minute strike was the second-latest goal in Premier League history as the game was temporarily suspended after an Everton fan tied himself to the goal post. The result was enough to move them to within a point of Leeds, with two games in hand. The result puts heaps pressure on Leeds tonight, as they go in search of their first back to back win of the season.

Leeds have to start delivering the unexpected

Elland Road journalist Phil Hay feels that Leeds need to start delivering the unexpected if they are to escape danger this season. The former Chief Football Writer for the YEP believes that games such as Wolves are winnable, and would tip the balance in Leeds favour of the remainder of their campaign

"I think four points on the back of what was a debacle against Villa would be a good response. Six would be excellent. I sort of feel like we're in that period where Leeds have to start delivering the unexpected. They need to start going to places like Wolves and producing results. A win tonight would seriously tip the balance in a positive way."

"The team news tonight - Bamford should be in the squad again and Rodrigo (quad) was due to train yesterday so fingers crossed on him. Gelhardt has a minor back injury and while Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips are back in training and available, Marsch sounded like he'd be careful with them this evening. Jamie Shackleton and Lewis Bate are doubtful and Firpo will be missing for the next month or so. Neto and Semedo both missing for Wolves this evening. So is Hoever."

Good morning and here's hoping for at least a point toneet. Shakleton is never fit and needed moving on last season. Surely we will see a proper fullback from the u23s on the bench. If cooper makes the bench then what happens if dallas gets an early knock. Pascal would then move to left back. The wrong move would be bringing cooper on as he won't last the game.

That went "Over My Head" Gessa ;)

Then I thought about it and realised it was "Not That Funny"

So I think it is in the best interests of the forum to "Stop Messin' Around"
