Good Morning Everyone It has been revealed that Leeds Supremo Marcelo Bielsa has a release clause in his contract of 7.8m and the Mexican Football Federation may be about to trigger it! Mexico have been without a Manager since parting with Juan Carlos Osorio following the World Cup. 7.8m is not a lot of money to a National Football Federation or a Premiership team - it surprises me that it is so low. Obviously, its only speculation at this stage, but if Bielsa were to go:- a) Would he take his bucket with him? b) Is Carlos Corberán ready to take his place c) Would it destroy our season or can Leeds continue to implement Bielsa's plans? The Yorkshire Evening Post have reported that Matthew Pennington has shown a desire to return to Elland Road on another season long loan. The 23 yo has been in good form for the toffee's and looking at how El loco has transformed our defenders, what could he do with Pennington. Unfortunately, Bielsa is still saying we don't need another central defender! Thoughts? O'Kane's future is still not sorted out. The Eire international does not want to drop out of the Championship, plus wages are a big problem for Charlton. Forward Adrian Balboa has completed a loan move to Spanish side Terrassa FC. Balboa will spend the rest of the 2018/19 campaign with the Tercera División side.

Maybe in the future when his philosophy has permeated the club, but now - a disaster. It would surprise me, Bielsa strikes me as a slightly odd guy who is not doing this for the money (however well paid we may think he is) and so would not up sticks after a few games. Especially as he has started well. He has managed a national team before, Leeds are a chance to manage a Premier league team, I’d have thought as an absolute minimum he’d do one season to see if he can get us up.’ Btw if he does go, it’s said he rates Corberan, he has a record of taking people with him when he moves on .....

I think it’s ludicrous that the English league feel it’s okay to close the window early yet our players can still move abroad, I’m slightly concerned about the bids for Pontus and his mysterious injury. Maybe it’s looking so good on the pitch we’re just looking for something o worry about and the other thing, who leaks these clauses? I mean, if you’re the Leeds board and things are going this well why would you tell a soul about a clause, if you’re Bielsa and happy why mention it?? Morning all. Scary times, reminiscent of Jock Stein. Not the first time Mexico have tried to get him to be the national coach either, he's revered out there. Spent five years there at two clubs, loves the cuisine and speaks the lingo so I'd imagine he'd feel very comfortable seeing out his career in Mexico. So the question is, does he want to put his feet up or does he really relish the challenge of getting Leeds back to the Premier League like he's said recently ? Who knows, but I'm reading reports that he's already turned the offer down, and that the Mexican FA aren't willing to pay the money to buy out his contract anyway. One of the reasons he left Club America was after he fell out with the owners, something to do with them being a media company and he was being pressured to do interviews etc which he didn't like. Sounds familiar.....

Trouble is IMO he is too full of his own importance. I still don't trust him and I doubt I ever will.
I’m more on the fence over Rads than I ever was before, I can see the good he has done, worryingly I can see the points many are making about the PR and he really should stay away from doing interviews, you’d think a media giant would know better or is that his problem, he’s not a giant yet but wants to be
Morning Matt and all. It would be a disaster if he left, not many coaches are capable of getting that extra 20% out of players as he has done. Corboran could well be the answer as a replacement when he does go but not yet. I have a feeling MB sees this job as a real challenge and will stsy to see it through. I thought Pennington was poor at times and very good at others, if MB can get that extra bit out of him then it might not be a bad thing, as Penny does like to carry the ball out, which suits our style now. O'Kane needs to go for us and for him, wages are obviously going to be a problem.
Morning all Friggin ludicrous in my opinion,this release clause rumour,Radz has been planning for the future,he and Orta when looking to the availability of Bielsa would have checked their were no clauses that could be triggered & would not have hired him if their was,just a lot of media hogwash designed to give Leeds fans something to worry about,the only time i will worry is when he gets us promoted,because believe you me the rest of footballing europe will have noticed,big major clubs would then be clambering for his signature,i am not sure what sort of contract Bielsa has with Leeds,but i hope it's shut tighter than a scotsman's wallet,no insult inted WJ. SO I DON'T BELIEVE A WORD OF IT.

Good Morning to Maestro Matt an d his posse from a sunny Bardsey I wrote quite recently that I hoped there was a large release clause on his contract as he would certainlY appeal to MU for the system he plays they would get r id of Jose tomorrow for this man We are still no nearer getting a C B and a mid field enforcer I am not convinced on Kinnear one bit talk the talk but gets nowhere.AR should shut his mouth over the money he has offered other managers and bids for other players because at this moment in time he has spent less than £3m on new staff .He has farmed out at least 15 players and brought in 5 so to my mind he has more than balance the books He made a statement that the money from season ticket sale would be spent on recruitment plus the 10m he got from the 49ers well where is it We even had a rumour that they were thinking of selling Pontus are they mad he his the best CB in this leagueand clearly loves the club .If Kinnear wants to do something constructive he should bring out a statement to the effect that no end of money would not get Pontus clearly the lad feels unwanted Where are we Reece Oxford Kinear get off you but and sign him along with Foyth
Good morning from HMS Happy Clappy where our Chairman went out and got Bielsa who is our manager and we're top of the league. Only concern I can see at present from here is that we need to up our performances again at the weekend. (welcome to climb aboard as it's a much happier place than where you all seem to be this morning....
