....Douglas was a hamstring, Ayling went down with no one near him, Berardi fell awkwardly. In principle of course you want your players really fit. But it’s also true the harder you push people to the limits the more some of them will break down. If that wasn’t the case, all athletes would just train longer every day to be fitter and stronger. As i’ve Said i’ve genuinely no idea if we’ve just had a run of bad luck, but you can’t just dismiss the training regime argument, as a potentially contributing factor, out of hand
Yeh, stick them on the shaks diet... when was the last time you had a ligament strain or bicep tear on your drinking arm?
My point exactly Milky... Although when I did play for my local team, half were either pissed or on hash.......
Shaks diet for the players sounds like a plan, monday to saturday, Then top the week off with OLOF binge drink sunday.
https://www.online-betting.me.uk/england-championship-injuries-and-suspensions.php Not sure how correct this site is, for example Ayling not on the list & Wigan are missing, but if approx OK then we certainly aren't the worst affected team with regard to injuries
All teams get injuries to players, don't think we are worse off than others. As for the training,no point having players who arn't fit. We seem to being doing OK tho, still second MOT
Guess we can’t prove it’s training related or not but Alioski, Phillips, Klich those three cover a lot of ground, Phillips has even played the cup games, I think some players are just more injury prone. Bamford managed to get injured a lot before he joined us, he has hardly played yet injured again.
