Good Morning Everyone Bielsa was asked at his pre match presser yesterday what would be his best achievement? Winning the title with Newell’s in 1991-92 or promotion with Leeds. Leeds fans on social media have reacted angrily (some calling for his sacking) as the Argentine said the following:- “The impact that this has on Newell’s and the fans and the public, I couldn’t compare anything to what I have lived with Newell’s. For us, football is a lot more than what it is for you,” “Because you keep a level of moderation here that gives the right importance to the results, you put the sports result in the right place but the fans of Newell’s can’t do that.” Also, during the press conference the gaffer was asked whether his team would 'play to the ref's whistle'? Bielsa made himself very clear on the matter:- “We have reached the common decision with the players, we decide to adapt 100% to the rules and we understand that if we have one player down we don’t have to put the ball out. We also think that if a player from the opposing team is down, we shouldn’t interrupt the play and put the ball out. We all know that the person that has to take this decision is the referee. Before the game we will tell the referee and the head coach of Derby and the captain of Derby that we will behave like that.” It’s clear to all, the referee must do his job and there are no grey areas that can give rise to any confusion. Jansson has also been talking to the YEP, and gave his account of the fiasco (v Villa). “It was a funny situation because when we scored there was a big argument and I wasn’t there because I’d walked over the bench to (John) Terry and Dean Smith to say sorry. The first thing they said to me was ‘now you have to let us score’. “I said ‘I can’t. That’s not me, I’m sorry but I can’t.’ One minute later I had to do it but when it happened in my head I was like ‘I can’t let them score.’ There was so much going on in those five or six minutes. "Afterwards, of course I should have let them score.”
Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey A great advert for our football clubs when both finals are being contested by English teams It also sends a message you have to be good to get into top 6 I just hope if we gain promotion we will have someone to back us no use relying on freebies and old menAR must also make sure Bielsa is at the helm next season whatever league we are in
Morning all.. Just speaking to a Forest fan here in Cyprus, he can’t understand my negativity towards tomorrows game, he has us down as certs, Derby will have it stuck in their heads how much better we have been twice and he feels their winning streak was against weak opposition, I hope he is right but you don’t get much weaker than Ipswich and 10 man Wigan. Bielsa and the Newells achievement, I think the point he was trying to make was lost in translation. If we don’t go up this season we’re more grounded, when we reflect during close season we’ll recognise what a great distance we’ve come. Winning with Newells to those Argentinians is like life and death to their fans, he will always be a hero to them. If Bielsa takes us up this season he’ll be a hero, if we lose our first 10 games in the PL we’ll all call for his head.
Great in the 80s but never moved with the times and eventually paid the price, just the same as Jim Davidson, rightly or wrongly what they did in the 80s would never be accepted today. I saw Freddie live twice, very funny but despite me seeing him 4 years apart his act was exactly the same.
Morning all. Of course winning with Newells is high point of Bielsas career. Its his home town club more or less whereas Leeds is a project that may finish next month or in twelve. Why do some fans think anyone who signs must bleed Leeds and hate everyone else. Need to grow up, some of them

Yep according to Phil Hay if we get promoted we might still be in with a chance but defintely no promotion, no chance.
