Was meant to happen when FFP was introduced, or when Arsenal's stadium debt went down.

What happened? We are still waiting: mind the gap

Yeah, mind the gap, you're still nowhere near us in terms of success, and heck, even support wise, you don't even touch us. Your stadium is mostly empty on cup days, you can't even fill Wembley proper at times. Mind the gap indeed, just like Spurs, you are in our shadows, which is why you have such a chip on your shoulder so desperately trying to prove yourselves and find acceptance, which you never will.

    I'll bite

Nobody really cares about the rivalry between Chelsea and Arsenal. Hence the lack of interest in our "gap".
Sp*rs vs Arsenal is a thing, hence the reason we celebrate finishing above, much the same as Pool vs United/Everton and Sunderland vs Newcastle. Those are proper rivalries. Chelsea doesn't really have a place amongst them.

Chelsea don't have any 'proper' rivalries when you think of it, as much as they try to seem relevant, they just aren't very relevant.

Where is the irony in Arsenal having more trophies and a more illustrious history than the Chavbus ? There isn't one.

The only irony is you making a **** wum thread claiming a London power shift to Chelsea when Arsenal far outstrip your achievements. (Even the ones you earned instead of bought)

You're beginning to sound as deluded as the Spuds with your obvious BS claims <ok>

At least Arsenal got to where they are now without a sugar daddy and are self sufficient. Chelsea would dream for just half the respect Arsenal got for the way they won the league. Funny how at first everyone liked the fact Chelsea and City stopped the complete domination of the league by Man United and Arsenal, but now they are hated by everyone because how they achieved that... FFP had helped Chelsea more they hindered them because its stopped teams just buying success like they have done, what if every team had 2 billion to spend of someone else's money in the last 10 years, how special would Chelsea be then???? Well we all know the answer to that<laugh>
