http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/story-19833835-detail/story.html Another wedge of wages we are going to pay for someone on the sidelines!
We have something called INSURANCE for players out injured, so Kelly, Pearson and Jimbo will all be covered on this, the only thing we are liable will be replacing the player.
Don't know depends on the policy, bit like when you take out your car insurance, you have the value of the car and then you have gap insurance which pays out to replace to be able to replace like for like. My wife's in insurance, she tried explaining it to me went over my head, so I told her what concrete would of been used to build that structure, so she gave up on explaining it
Have insurance but it still needs to be paid for- As far as insuring wages is concerned, its a bit like having insurance on a Ford Escort and a Rolls Royce, they are both cars but one will cost you a lot more to insure than the other.
We really must be one of the unluckiest sides in the country when it comes to our loan players getting injured. The list is very long and with some nasty injuries over the past decade as well.
No-one is going to want to send players to us at this rate!! If insurance covers some/all of the wages does it get included in FFP regs?
