one has to be praiseworthy of the job Klopp has done at Liverpool .. it has taken a couple of years but he has put together a really good squad, just adding one or two here and there and it is quite a young team really. In a way Chris wilder has achieved something similar took over and got them promoted, consolidated in Championship and promoted to Prem currently 6th and looking forward to a second year up there. Luke Freeman occasionally gets in the match day squad but at least he is in the PREM! but none of their squad are really household names top scorer only got 5 … but of course that's what a "team" can do
I do admire his achievements, but I will never forgive Liverpool for knocking us out of the FA Cup 6th round in '74 at Ashton Gate and their tactics spoiled the game and the spectacle of our biggest FA cup game for decades. I'm also convinced that had we beaten them on that day we would have stood a decent chance of going all the way. I was however very happy about Tin Mans winning goal at Anfield in 1994 or 1995 !
Liverpool are great to watch, but they are a club from another city - quite comparable in fact to Bristol in a lot of ways but NOT Bristol City, so I can’t support them. Admire yes, support no.
