Dignified to the end: http://www.leaguemanagers.com/news/news-6860.html Can there be anyone who wouldn't wish him well for the future?
A true gentleman and when you know that there are people like him still involved in football it goes someway to restoring your faith that they arn't all crooks and just out for what they can get like someone I could mention ! Sir Peter for what you did for us you will never be forgotten ..... thank you from the bottom of my heart !
There is talk of getting his medal back for him. It needs to be mounted in a display cabinet...........plus an engraved plaque from the Green Army thanking him for his services beyond the call of duty.
What did you expect him to say? Plymouth Argyle and all connected to it are a bag of ****e and should have been strangled at birth? He knows he has the moral highground and the sympathy of the majority at least for his not walking away when he could have. There are still plenty who appear to agree with him going however despite the handcuffs he worked in for his stay here. For me, I admire the man for sticking with it in almost impossible circumstances and wish him every success elsewhere where I hope he gets a chance soon. His record in football compared to the person who sacked him is hardly remotely the same is it so it isn't hard to come up with the goody and the baddy in this fiasco.
