Have I missed out any of our league one players who played in the Premier League?


That's not a bad little memory of those players who played a part for us in league one and in the Premier league. I was inspired by the tributes to Guly and it had me thinking about those players who came along, long way on a remarkable journey. Of those 8 players, five have been first choice Premier League players (one now at Palace), two played a little part in both seasons in the Premier League and only one, Fraser, left for a lower level. Not bad.

He didn't play in the PL.

Yes Tom, I thought it was simple. Those who have played for us in League one and gone on the journey to the Premier League with us.

Chambo left before we got there; Chaplow didn't play (I don't think) in the Prem

 

Wikipedia says he made three appearances in the league and three in the league cup.

 

Chaplow definitely came on away to Chelsea in Nigel's last game.

Just trying to think if there are any who stayed with us during our two relegations. Probably not due to the administration meaning we had to sell just about everyone. Bialkowski maybe? Any other shouts?
