To all those who were getting ahead of themselves talking about top 10. Survival is good enough this season, simple as. Our team have been performing well, but we lack quality in certain areas. Our squad is no where near good enough for top 7-10 yet. If we finish anywhere above 18th it's good enough. The higher the better obviously. We lack a quality CF that's fit regularly. Will be interesting to see how Wilson plays coming back. And we need to make a decision regarding wingers. The biggest plus of the last few games has been Bruno. He's been our best threat at times.
125 million spent since finishing 13th... Shows the magnitude of the task to get nufc anywhere near top 10 never mind any higher. When you think Steve bruce finished 12th and 13th and that wasn't good enough for our fans it's quite interesting that 17th is now seen as a good position.
Apart from Schlem calling me a ****, interesting that we now have a majority opinion that Chris Wood is, in fact, utter clart.
25 million seems over the odds for a big lump thst needs it on an absolute silver alter to score, but it's 25 million well spent if we stay up.
Simple Bruce and Ashley decimated the team and Club by their respective inadequacies to the extent that if Bruce wasn’t sacked he would have taken this squad down regardless of the new owners.
Think when we have everyone fit we have an 11 that, if they stayed fit, would have a reasonable chance of getting 10th place. However we don't have much depth and its showed over the last couple of games. Dubravka Manquillo Burn Schar Targett Willock Joelinton Guimares St Maximin Wilson Wood I think would do pretty well. We haven't been able to play that side once in the unbeaten run.
If we had literally everyone fit it would be - ASM--------Wilson-------Fraser ---Joelinto-Bruno-Willock----- Targett--Burn-Schar----Trippier -----------------Dubz------------- If we could keep em fit that could challenge for top 10 over the course of a season, but not much more.
Emphasis on keeping them fit which aint going to happen lol. Wilson could maybe score 10 goals over 20 games.

4-4-2 with a higher defensive line would work in most but the top games. But I still prefer 4-5-1 and a decent striker would have took some chances against Everton.
