Anyone care to cheer me up?
We had Scotty on the wing, Tinns, Noble et all.
The sun always seemed to shine at AG.
The crowd always had a buzz and air of excitement about the place...........

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.......SOMEONE INVENT A TIME MACHINE!!!

We had some great league 1 teams back in the day, took them for granted come to think of it. Oh for Aaron Brown and scott murray on our wings, tinnion and Doherty in the midfield

I guess what I am getting at is even though we are in L1 now, it was just sooo much better then? After all, L1 is L1...........
Have we really got that bad now? In the cold light of day, when you look back over recent years, and it has been said so many times, we have indeed dropped to an all time low. For those of us old enough to remember the Ashton Gate 8 and all that went with it in the clubs darkest hour, we still had that never say die attitude and always an air of optimism. Whats happened to that?

It is just 4 long years of hurt and pain on the fans.

Next year if we can improve, who knows, the atmosphere may return to Ashton gate again.

You've answered your own question Jeffery, the difference between now and then is we had 2 natural wingers a hard central midfielder and a playmaker. Now we have Burns for 30 minutes and poofs in the centre.

On our last relegation to the bottom division of English football, there was financial reasons behind our demise, where we are now is ten times worse in my mind, for there is no obvious reasons for our downfall...league 2 beconds & I just cant exept that, although I will always go & support my club, has I have done for nearly 60 years......its going to be a long road back to where we should be, the Championship at the very least.

It may well of taken 7 years to get out of L1, but was it so damn depressing and negative back then like it is now?.....I just can't remember the whole club being as low as it is now....ever!
