No not a new Hollywood blockbuster but an interesting decision that needs to be made. Correct me if I am wrong but we are only allowed to loan 2 players from fellow Premier League teams this season and given that 1 is Caulker who would everyone else realistically like to see??? My Choice(s)...Well I was just reading the the thread of the Man U Res v Swans Res and the 6-0 hammering they gave us and I read their team for the game and that Mame Diouf and Macheda both played and scored. Both have Prem experience, both have scored more than a couple, both are quality youngsters and after the way Welbeck and Cleverly have turned out im sure Sir Alex will be more than willing to send out a couple more youngsters so if we are going to get in a striker then either of those 2 would be brilliant IMO. If we are after a midfielder im going pray for McEachran, the lad is going to be quality!! Thoughts?
Macheda played?! I mentioned him earlier in the summer but for some reason I think I thought he was off to Italy or something. For me, the guy looks a lot like Borini, and would thrive in a team like ours. Sign him up, if we can score loads of goals we'll stay up on that alone!
Aye he played. Scored the first one. Id be happy with either as Diouf did well @ Blackburn last season but i would prefer Macheda.
That is not strictly true, yes two long term loans can be made from premier league sides, but long term is from transfer window to transfer window, we could take someone on until January , then take someone else in January until June , Cauker is here on a season long loan so that limits us. However we can still take further loans from non premier league clubs, such as from Europe , we are allowed another 2 season long deals, or 4 transfer window to transfer window deals from there, so Borini anyone in January ? So in total we are allowed 8 deals for the entire season.
Lol I knew we could have short termers and euro loans etc I was was meaning to say long term prem loans prob should have been a bit clearer in thread :s my bad but as for long term prem loans being window to window I did not know that in that case get them both in and decide at the end of the season which one we are going to bid for for our second premier league season
its fine, given him a thread to himself in which Pgf kicked his arse he wont be around soon i think! haha
MY only worry about Caulker is the situation in January. Any injuries and Spurs can call him back. I know this is a standard clause but it would leave us little time to replace him. Fingers crossed no injuries at centre back for Spurs this year! Just glad we didn't bend over backwards for Ayala's agent .....out for 2 months after under 20 minutes of game time!
is sturridge realistically going to get much game time with the blues, i dont think so or if the italians go on long term strike go and ask for borini to keep him match fit to play alongside graham
