This is the words of our saviour TP I have just got to come and say for the people and i that went to Lverpool last night that what a waste of money it is becoming travelling with our boys ... It is shocking watching and sometimes i cannot believe how he sets us up .. Liverpool lets get this right are no great shakes at this present moment ! We went there for no better than a 0-0 result ...i m sure we are all agreed on that . Simply the question has to be why not have a go ? Im sure all stokies love our team as we do but with the financial times coming to what they are .... I cannot believe our away support will not start to drop away before too long simply because we are absolutely dreadful away and it really does take some watching ! An away day is normally great but this is becoming very grinding ... views fellas ????
Potter Palm I'm at work right now, hence the late reply. NO NEED to apolgise why should you? Sadly or not given the performance v Liverpool I didn't get to the game on Wednesday night. Well done you, and all the other fans who did, top lads and Ladies of course. I did listen to commentary and it was obvious when I heard the team news what T.P. was planning for. Turned out, more or less, we got exactly what we deserved? YOU would know better than me Potter? I don't miss too many games, or at least until this season I didn't. Must admit that if Tony keeps this, "They shall not score" attitude away from home, many Stoke fans will lose their will to pay and watch what can sometimes only be described as terrible. I will always back the TEAM whoever plays and Tony Pulis. But, to go to Liverpool when agreed by their standards they are having a bad one! And just defend for you life is both stupid, and an insult to those who shell out good money to travel away. More so, we didn't by the sounds of it, give ourselves a chance mate? And, to leave out Ringtone, Jones and Fuller when Diao can start is beyond me. I too am fast losing patience with his team selection, his thinking behind it, or lack of! I guess IF we beat Sunderland Pulis will say, it's working. NO it isn't Tony because to basically concede victory even BEFORE a ball is kicked ie the Liverpool game is too negative, too defensive and too bloody expensive to watch. Hope this helps Potter we are NOT alone mate I assure you. For me now mate it's back to work. KTF too!
I believe that we did NOT give it a good go, why on earth do we always try and beat teams, especially teams that have as much quality as Liverpool, when we are already a goal or two down and are playing a 4-5-1 formation, I wouldn't have minded if Pennant and Etherington were playing, Walters just doesn't have the pace to be a right winger in this league, he is a squad filler at best but we've played him against a Liverpool side who we could have had a double over. The chance was there Tone and you royally ****ed it up pure and simple. People that pay around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã40 for a ticket not including travel expenses and also food/drink do NOT deserve to see us sit back and not even try to play against a Liverpool side who we could have pressed and hassled, we had the chance and missed it, i've said it before and i'll say it again. It was down right disrespectful to the Stoke City supporters who made the journey to Analfield.
