I know it sounds like sour grapes, but the lad is a nutcase (yes i'm aware he was our nutter)
But he could end up in jail his off field antics are not solved so watch this space!
Lets not blame the board quite yet, because if it's true and they did reject 35M and then he asked to go i feel there was nothing they could have done and we're better off shot of him!
Lets face it he's trying to save face by saying he was pushed!
    Don't buy it just yet!
    Stay strong

Im the same, don't buy the whole I was pushed line. He just wants any easy life from the fans when he comes back to newcastle (nights out that is not playing). I also have it on fairly good authority that many of the players are happy at his departure as they thought he was a cu**, foreign lads especially!!!

    Exactly mate
Lets not overreact just yet he's saving his bacon for his 50k a week!
there is no loyalty in this anymore and we are not at the same strengths as when we attracted shearer who gave up a lot for us!
So lets Sing shearer's name to the rafters at craven cottage and back it up with a bit of ameobikoki!

Really? I got the impression that he was well liked?
But I can see why a few people might dislike him...

Hit Taylor, Hit N'zogbia and rumours of a bust up recently with jose !!!! Wayne Routledges twitter comment doesnt suggest that he rates him very highly, along the lines of AC costing more tha David Vill wtf?????

Woops, totally forgot about the Jaw incident...
Wonder how Nolan feels, maybe a bit relieved at not having to cohabituate with a big kid.

Rivalries aside, your better off without him,he should be hung drawn and quartered.
We had the same problem with Judas Bent
The club is always bigger than the player<ok>

On the upside we have got 35 mil + for a person who could end up in jail in the future. Especially since he's going to be living in Mersyside

All the lads love him and hate Taylor, he is best mates with Nolan who is our captain and leader of the group.

Also if he's had a bust up with Jose then we're best rid of him, Jose is a much more important player for us.

I'm sorry like but i agree the kids a ****... stabbed us in the back and betrayed us, " i was pushed " is a load of ****, he didn't have to accept the contract - we've seen it plenty of times where contract negotiations break down during transfer windows because personal terms couldn't be agreed and we rebuffed two bids from the scousers and according to pards in his interview with the gazette knocked one back from another club... hes a Judas bastard and i'm still absolutely irate with him - like somebody posted in another thread the days of shearer and sir bobby are gone, but i've got a feeling that we will push on from this now our players just have to step up to the plate - im hoping that this may be a catalyst for ranger to start getting his shooting boots on as now i think it will be ameobi + 1 starting games from here on with ranger making sub appearances when he gets tired.

I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing a lot of Ranger then. Ameobi never seems 100% fully fit
