Been able to devote my usual 5 minutes before I'm off to work.

Dan hasn't improved, sorry. He still sounds the same world-weary person who'd rather be left alone. I think he's nervous, and it's affecting in the tired way that can sometimes happen. Rehearse..! Get the world weariness out of the voice. I can't hear anything Dan is saying because I can't stop listening to him.

Chris sounds upbeat, same as last week. He's carrying the show.

    Anyway, back for more later.

Chris and Ben were good. The content is interesting and worth a listen. Beginning to feel sorry for Dan but this really isn't his forte. As has been said rehearsals are needed as Dan is not the man for off the cuff discussion. It can be a one sided conversation with an awkward silence or lots of umms in response.

Well I'm going to revise my opinion of Dan. He was a tad better. Just a tiny bit. Work on that upbeat voice delivery. No monotone mumbles please, I want to hear him happy to be part of the show. Get the sound levels sorted too. He's too quiet.

Also, when Chris talks about a particular topic or segment, please refer to that directly, rather than something entirely different. Chris was thrown off-balance a couple of times in the programme. One excellent example is of Stoke's physical playing style and their frustration in getting anything out of Saints, a point made by Chris, when a Stoke player ended up deliberately throwing the ball into Mane's face. When asked for his opinion, Dan answered that he thought Saints were lucky as the player could have gone down - an incident of the match entirely unconnected to the point Chris was making. He glossed over this and carried on. So sharpen up Dan or stop the recording and go again, as they say. Edit it all together at the end.

Sorry to be overtly critical. The premise of the show is a very good one. These have been done before by members of TSW, for example, and they suffered the same problems. They never overcame them. Chris, Dan and Co could. The idea that blimey, I could do better is often erroneous. It is difficult to produce a show, especially when it's being done for fun and for the enjoyment of fellow Saints supporters.

Perhaps you can invite the True Geordie in for a future episode. Good luck trying to get a word in edgeways if you do..! :)
