    Er I think not.

I'm truly staggered he still makes the starting 11.

Some (non-season ticket) bloke sat behind me on Wednesday asked his mate, quite seriously, "Is King playing John"?

"Yes", the reply came. "He's not been the same since that game for Wales against England". "If I remember right, he was rested in the City game after and that was that, just not been the same since"

Now, the really interesting point in this conversation was not so much the reply from John, which I totally agree with, but that it took place around the 85th minute of the game on Wednesday. Yes, 85 minutes, again, of not noticing King on the pitch.

He was equally absent yesterday despite the valiant defence from Alan Young on the phone in "He was man marked all game, so much so that the other player would have been holding Kingy's willy if he'd gone for a pee". Seriously Alan? Good try, but has he been that well man marked for the last 20+ league games?

I think not. He's massively off form and needs dropping. Give somebody else a go at the front of this Diamond Sven insists on playing. Danns? Gally now he's fit? Fernandes? Or even Vassell behind 2 strikers?

Anything is better than the Illusionist otherwise known as King.
