How did Ajose score 25 in a season? Headless chicken. And the only time he got in a good position Magennis went for glory. Big Josh works hard, but he messed up there, as well as screwing a free header horribly wide from 7 yards. Big Mak would have got dog's abuse for that one. BUT let's face it Charlton is not a good place to play. Lookman at 19- ok he was poor today, but how many managers has he seen come and go? And poor Konsa, played out of position. The atmosphere is truly shocking, even if we'd won can you imagine any real joy or tunnel jumps? Well there were no protests today so who will the apologists blame for that abysmal display?

Awful player, but as someone pointed out yesterday, Ajose has only had one decent season in his career - and maybe Slade bought him on the back of that fluke? One thing is for sure, his game is solely around scoring from tap ins because he literally does nothing else. He can't hold a ball up and he lacks the skill to play other teammates in. As you correctly say, when Magennis hit the post yesterday, Ajose should have read it and followed up. Exactly the same thing happened at Bradford last week, only that shot rolled along the goal line with Ajose nowhere.

The loudest cheer from our fans yesterday came when Fox was hooked - I think Ajose would have beaten that decibel level had he suffered the same fate.

If Ajose fairies around at Millwall on Wed night, I can see him copping it

Shows Slade was actually right not to play him at the beginning of the season, only giving in to fan pressure to play 4-4-2. So if Slade didn't scout him then who did:afro:?

It was noticeable that Chris O'Loughlin played a prominent part in the players warm up yesterday, including going over to brief the goalkeepers. No doubt he was telling Dillon Phillips about his time dodging bullets in the jungle in Congo.
O'Nobody seemed to be enjoying himself laughing and chatting - his job has been done to date as he has successfully embedded himself 'under the radar' during the furore over Slade/ Robinson. The Regime has handled O'Twat's infiltration far more subtly than they did Karel Fraeye's. The next step - and it is 99% guaranteed sooner or later - is Robinson's dismissal followed by O'Lackeys elevation to manager. Then Duchatelet really will be able to pick the team again via his live feed.

Robinson saying "I won't use it as an Excuse". You know what comes next! Extra time on tuesday, Holmes, Rudd Solly Novak injured. Other teams don't get injuries, do they.

Other teams address it by understanding the need for depth.

After that pile of cack tonight I am more convinced than ever that Robinson won't be here for long.

He can't /won't get anything more out of this group of players because the vast majority of them are not good enough

And he won't be given adequate resources in January to strengthen where we all know it was needed.

Jackson and Crofts visibly wilted after 60 mins tonight - laughable and shameful.

I thought I would give myself some time to collect my thoughts before posting. Charlton are going down the ****ter with RD and Meire that is obvious. It is no good bringing in new coaches when the foundations are rotten and the players are not good enough. If you put lipstick on a pig it is still a pig.Too many players last night with no balls. Let us be clear here Millwall are no Chelsea. What they have got is a pattern of play and committed players, we have got neither of those. We are going backwards under the scouse chancer.. Forget twats like incorruptible and Bexley Boy who blame our plight on CARD and INJURIES. The mess our club is in is three years of Duchatelet and Meire. A whole stream of terrible buys, on the say so of a spotty computer geek ****ing over his PC.
We have a number of players on large salaries who are not playing for us Sarr, Vetokele, Watt and Ceballos. We have Ba who hasn't played all season despite being fit. We have a geriatric midfield in Croft and Jackson who look like snails on Valium. We have Foley, Fox, Novak, Botaka, Ulvestad who are not good enough.
We still need another eight to nine wins to be safe from relegation, that is not going to be easy.

All clubs pick up injuries, it's why you have something called a "squad". Why is Stan Boardman blaming injuries ? Rudd is a loan but Phillips has done ok. Solly is reliable but his knees are shot. And everyone predicted that as soon as Ricky Holmes got injured this side would struggle. Tex and Bauer have been bigged up by some but Larry Grayson and John Inman would have been more physical in our defence last night. Robinson needs to stop gobbling off and start grafting on the training pitch. Start with REALLY BASIC stuff like marking up and tracking your runners - both absent last night.
The sad thing is that Millwall are a bad side but out of two bad sides, they wanted it more.

The players know by now that every manager is on borrowed time as soon as he starts the job. So any manager's authority is undermined already by the time he steps in the dressing room. So the players aren't busting a gut for KR, neither will they for Congo Chris whenever the bell rings for him.

His pre match interview was odd - where he alluded to Crofts being some sort of dynamic box to box midfielder, referring to his time at Brighton.

When he last found himself getting serious game time at Brighton he was in his late 20's. Worrying.

Not too bothered about the result as long as our fans had a good dance after. That's what football is about apparently.

Deja vu? KR has 3 points from 5, set to equal Parky's 3 from 8 in his trial period, when he was "judged on results", and got the gig.

C O'L was surely behind Slade's sacking, within days of the CEO publicly praising him as "the new way forward". Robinson's scalp will make it a double whammy.
