Just got back home. Had a couple of pints. That was a great game. To be honest I thought Barnet tried to play decent football. The supporters club was rammed as was the blackthorn end. I am being honest I cannot remember when I enjoyed a game so much since we left the azteca stadium in Bath.

if that was under buckle or mcghee and just conceded in 89th minute to barnet we would of ended up losing 2-1. but under ward what a difference he has made! barnet frustrated me passing the ball around their defence. having 1 striker up front allowed them to play it around and have lots of possession and they have a good system on the wings. i was impressed with barnet to be honest. i was saying at half time 442 is needed and i was calling for this all second half. when clarkson and richards came on, 442 happened and we looked so much better and got 2 goals. apparently there was around 2000 gasheads still outside the stadium for the 1st half not allowed in as stadium was full. if true then unlucky guys! i think the meal deal, happy hour and quid for a kids offers went down really well. having the bug crowd sounded amzing tonight with the atmosphere in the blackthorn end. i feel so proud at the moment bein a gashead. P49 you are 100% the spirit of twerton is back. when we conceded our fans didnt drop our heads or bitch at the team. we kept singing and was a proper 12th man. we should be proud of ourselves tonight. i nearly lost my voice!! Lets not forget the chairman, I hold no allegence to him either way apart from he is our chairman, great touch coming into the club house after the game to chat to the fans, lets hope Wardy and the players take note of this, they are not to important to show themselves once in awhile, Brogs would have been carried around the place on shoulders if he have appeared in the bar after that game.
