Don't get me wrong I loved Joey as a player, but at times his constant twitter outbursts did get on my nerves bringing unneeded/unwanted press to Newcastle's door.

Well it seems he's at it again this time belittling Karl Henry and Wolves.

PS. I do actually agree with what he's saying, Karl Henry is a twat, I only think the outbursts are unnecessary.

  2. I agree with him on everything though. He's a big mouthed twat but i like the fact he's not afraid to speak his mind, where as most footballers are afraid to piss without consent.

Don't get me wrong I agree with him, I only wonder if the constant press attention is in the best interests of the club.

I wondered what he meant by Kelvin Henry. All makes sense now! Nice to see him giving it out still #character (see what I did there)

Wish he was still our "problem". Loved the bloke for his passion, his football and speaking his mind.

QPR Supporter here. I'm in the minority that I did not want Barton. He clearly is an excellent player, but I do not want the baggage. I Fear that we will regret the decision to sign him eventually.

  10. Didn't get a single red card last season, only got in trouble once with the FA, he speaks his mind but he's a great bloke and a great player.

If you have any sense you'll put up with the fact that he's not the all round perfect player, but he's damn good.

I have intolerably high standards that I judge players by, and this won’t change. Barton currently falls some way short, but I do appreciate that I am among the minority.

As is say, it is the baggage, not the current realisation that I am judging him on. I sincerely hope to be proved wrong as he season progress.

Glad there's at least one footballer who'll say what he thinks instead of just being a bland moron like most of them.

I give him quite a lot of credit for how he's got his life in order over the last couple of years, both on and off the pitch.

One less player that was integral to our 'soap opera' tag.

Don't worry. The owner, who is responsible for the sale of Barton and our other good players, will ensure we'll still have that tag.

You know what my reply would be? Nothing.

I'd just ignore him, and when asked I'd just say "What comments? Haven't noticed. He's just another opponent to me, don't give care what he does once he's off my pitch."

    Make Barton feel worthless. <ok>

The FA allow players to kick the crap out of Joey without them getting cautioned. Look at what Karl Henry did to him last season at the Wolves v Newcastle match.

Of course we've no good players left, yet oddly we're fourth in the league ahead of QPR. As RRF says the correct response is to blank him and he'll eventually go away. Hopefully.
