Sometimes, something happens that touches not just football fans, but people everywhere. Back in December, someone from this site, a Sunderland fan who has visited us here, Billy Death Chunky Pineapple Balls, lost his partner to cancer, very suddenly. She was diagnosed, and within about a week, she was gone. Syd posted this thread and began fundraising for cancer, in memory of Janie, who was loved, and is now sorely missed.
