As I was casually strolling toward, and ultimately over, the Itchen Bridge on Wednesday evening - content after watching Saints stroll into the last 16 of the League Cup - i was slightly perturbed by what I could see.

BLUE lights shining on the grand bridge to Woolston!!

I am now contemplating filing a strongly worded letter to the council.

The more shocking thing is why has your picture of Guly gone?

He didn't respond to my love letter, he broke my heart with his disregard for my feelings. Still a quality player, mind.

Lol i saw them on wednesday night after the game and said the exact same thing as you,i know they're only lights but they are right near st marys! should of been a red light then a white light on the next one and so on,red and white lights would of looked smart.

More shocking was the fact that under Lowe the boardroom was blue. OK, he may not have fancied working in a red room, but neutral would have been better..showed how little he understood the club.

I would draw your collective attention to a certain default banner colour at the top of this webpage. Not that it matters. :)

Yes, and I was shocked to see an ambulance a couple of days ago, going over the bridge. It had a blue flashing light on the top. What were they thinking?! Maybe there was a Pompey fan inside?

They couldn't do red and white lights as it would confuse pilots due to the fact that red and white are common lights for guiding planes. I live in Woolston and hate looking over to the stadium seeing blue all around it but despite that it makes the bridge look alot better than it did
