I don't know why Massa is being named for worst driver - he couldn't have seen Magnussen when he turned in and by the time he did it was too late. On Massa's onboard you can actually see him opening the steering just before the contact but the collision was unavoidable at that point. Brundle and Coulthard both called it correctly - racing incident. The only thing Massa did wrong was blaming Magnussen afterwards. Perhaps not entirely the right place to discuss it, but for me it's the fact he even tried to make the apex. You're on the outside of the corner, and you know there's people all around you. If you watch a lot of the cars behind him on a similar line, very few are trying to take such a line. Whether KMag would have just caught him on the exit of the corner or not is a fair question, but I think the incident could have been avoided/delayed had Massa taken a more generous line to allow for the fact there might be someone there.
Yeah, 6 of one half a dozen of the other, maybe we should have a 'stewards corner' thread to discuss incidents like Massa/Mag or the missing SC for Sutils spin (for me it was 50/50 for an SC, the car was well off the racing line)
