    It's not part of Gateshead either to be fair, it's just Washington, Tyne & Wear, like Syd said. It's like saying Cramlington is in Newcastle when it's actually in Northumberland.

    If the figures above are true and i'm sure it is and you also include Houghton (pop24000) then the population of "Sunderland" drops to less than 200,000! How the hell did that ****hole become a city? Did they bribe the queen? It doesn't even have a Cathedral man!!
