The injuries are piling up. This is not a good thing. This could be a sticky thread and that's also not a good thing. So at the moment we have: McGregor (back) - 6-8 months Odubajo (knee) - 6 months Dawson (Knee ligaments) - unknown, possibly 6-8 weeks Maguire (Ankle) - unknown Bruce (Achilles) - 4 to 6 months Livermore (Ankle) - unknown Huddlestone (Achilles) - unknown McKenzie (gashed head) - a week Obviously the latter doesn't make much difference, but I thought I'd include him anyway. Huddlestone apparently isn't too much of a risk, but even so, what the hell is happening? Have we ever had such a bad injury blight across the squad? Livermore and Maguire are both probably going to miss the game at Glanford Park and according to the HDM we've sent for some more of our development squad to come back from Austria.
ah instead of taking the first half of the season by storm and struggling for the 2nd half, after christmas.......................were gonna struggle all season cause we dont have the players!
It's the 100 quid I was going to give the club for announcing our home kit in the name of HCAFC. Going to be awkward if they do it after all... will still go through with it.
We both get small UK part pensions paid monthly into our bank account and it's about 1.75 currently. Most of mine is returned to Hull every year as I pay for 2 City season passes for relations there.
Holy ****! How many fit senior outfield player do we have now? The other day the BBC reported 14 but we've had 3 more injuries since then I think.
We have 12, including 2 keepers, so we could name an XI with a keeper on the bench. It's a farce that we haven't brought anyone in.
An injury update from the Tigers’ treatment room. Michael Dawson Michael is set for a three-month spell on the sidelines after scans revealed the Tigers’ skipper suffered a significant medial collateral ligament injury in the pre-season win at Mansfield Town last night. Dawson will wear a leg brace for the next six weeks. Tom Huddlestone Tom is suffering with an ongoing achilles problem. This is currently being managed and continually assessed during pre-season. He will face up to two weeks on the sidelines. Jake Livermore Jake faces a two-week spell on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury in training ahead of the Mansfield game and subsequently forced him to miss Tuesday night’s pre-season clash at the One Call Stadium. Adama Diomande Adama will return to training this week after sitting out the second week in Portugal after suffering a knock to his knee whilst on international duty with Norway and should be in contention to feature in Saturday’s friendly fixture against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park. Allan McGregor Allan had successful surgery on his back on Tuesday and the expected recovery and rehabilitation is likely to see him return to training in the New Year. Alex Bruce Alex had successful surgery to remove a bony prominence in his foot last Thursday and faces up to six months on the sidelines. Moses Odubajo & Harry Maguire Both Moses and Harry have appointments to see consultants later today. We will give a further update on the duo at some stage tomorrow.
