Fer, Sandro, Yun, Traore , Robinson, Polter Any idea when any of them are back? Fer and Sandro seem to have been nearly in contention for weeks. If Yun gets fit soon we can loan out Kpekawa. If Traore gets fit again hopefully someone will injure him or take him out to the woods to be shot in the back of the head. Polter? I don't even know what injury he has.
I have this nagging notion that if fit none of them will make a blind bit of difference to our performance as a team, and even may weaken our team spirit. Fer is a big time Charlie, as is Sandro. Can't honestly see either of them putting themselves about for long in the mud wrestling league before the inevitable injury whether real or feigned removes them from the fray. Yun has been injured on off for quite a while so I fully expect a recurrence there. Traore, doesn't matter really. Best days behind him. Robinson, don't know much about him. Polter could come good but I doubt it. This after all is QPR. Come on you R's!
Sandro played all 90 minutes last week for the EDS. Fer had tweeted he is nearly back. Robinsons, was a a ACL whislt out on loan last season...I think they were hoping to get him back training this autumn
How does anyone know if Sandro or Fer will put in a proper shift in this division? Even if they are big time Charlie's which there is nothing really to suggest they are, neither have refused to train, play or sit on the bench for example, surely there best way of getting back to a top level side is to perform week in, week out. I'm more than willing to give these players a chance and my support until proven otherwise, seems crazy to write players off before giving them a go especially considering the ability both have.
As said above Sandro played a full 90 minutes with the kids last week. that is putting a shift in. I think both are trying to get into the team....neither have tried it on either...they may be languid or slow on the field, but in both cases I think they have performed to their ability. Give them a chance
QPR midfielder Fer returns to action By West London Sport 22/09/2015 please log in to view this image Leroy Fer returned to action for QPR’s development side on Tuesday afternoon. The Dutch midfielder played an hour of the game against Crewe at Rangers’ Harlington training ground, as did Sandro, who scored the opening goal in a 3-1 win for the home side. Fer has been sidelined with the knee problem which last month led to Sunderland pulling out of a deal to sign him on loan. Sandro, meanwhile, is building up his match fitness havingrecently returned to the country after a longstanding issue with his visa was finally resolved. Teenage winger Mide Shodipo scored twice for Rangers, whose line-up also included Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-midfielder-fer-returns-to-action
A midfield two of a 100% committed Sandro and Faurlin, with chery, Phillips and Fer in front of them makes for a very good midfield 5 indeed. Not sure where that leaves Luongo however who's probably been our best player so far this campaign. Plenty of options in midfield as we all stated pre season.
I guess there will be injuries along the way (Fer and Sandro most likely) but I wouldn't want to see Luongo dropped. Chery has been the worst of the three attacking mids IMO.
I'd be willing to bet £20 for charity that Sandro doesn't play ten more games for QPR if anyone fancies
I think they will be keen to impress myself Will be interesting to see what the team looks like with both of them in it Looks very strong IMO Reckon that Caulker boy will be back as well in Jan I really hope we do well and by mid Oct we should know and then us as fans have to start to believe and push our team
I believe that Caulker is on a season long loan, which Southampton paid us £1m for the privilege with an option to buy. He can't come back until next season if at all.
