I've tried to take a little step back too - a wise precaution at my age. It would have been so easy to get involved on the stuff going on elsewhere today but I had more important things to do like power washing my patio. That's not that I don't endorse most of the things said from the Blue side but life has to go on and after all this is only an opinions forum not life and death.

Funny though I actually sympathised with the Swansea guy yesterday who wanted support for the action against closing the Swansea Coastguard Station. It's like the cuts hitting the police, it will all end in tears. How the hell can the powers that be say that those organisations will be more efficient by making sweeping reductions in numbers. Run them properly maybe - like not sending 100+ coppers to police a game with little propsect of trouble. Anyway that's another issue which is bigger than all of us.

While the Swansea guy had my sympathy with that point of view he then spoiled it all by getting WUMmy and abusive. I would never publicise those I chose to ignore - surely the best way is just to ignore them?

I thought Cardiff were in big trouble when Jones left & Shearer was in line for the job but Mackay getting the job was a godsend . Signing off from your board .... enjoy your team

I don't use the ignore list, some of the posts make my blood boil but that&#8217;s what they want to do, and yes there is no way to have a sensible conversation with some posters.

Most are only doing the tribal thing that we all do and some you can even have a bit of fun with Breezey and Dragon Swan come to mind.

Others I would be quite happy to know Mabon, Millens and others, I'm sure that most outside football would be okay.
 
I am not going to block anyone I will read and choose what I want to ignore or reply to by my own judgement of how worthy a response is.

Ace - of course his opinions don't matter, and it's no good me saying not to get riled by him because he often annoys me too. Armchair plastic he maybe, but you and me and the many other CCFC guys on here who attend games all know that.

The fact that he posts on this forum is not important in the real world - let him enjoy himself. The problem is that if he knows he's annoying you with his little quips and media data trawls, he's winning his little armchair game.

I must disagree with Sweet here though. I don't use the ignore facility at all - I'd rather see him make a fool of himself.

Just be at the CCS like me and enjoy the real thing. The atmosphere, the cameraderie and the friendships. Streaming games via the net is a poor substitute, but then, that's all he's got. <ok>
 
Not interested in the ignore button, so will continue to respond to breezy, it may be giving him what he wants but his stupidity fascinates me.

I'm afraid you two will have to stay off the Ignore list for now, I need a couple of jacks alive (so to speak) so i know what the others are up to<laugh>

Well it's been a bit of fun doing this, but I'll have to relent sooner or later or I can't get my full fix of wum bashing.
Just another day or two though.
