Not heard about this before... The Hull Tapestry The Hull tapestry is a series of panels depicting aspects of the city's life. It took 15 years to make it, and over 100 people took part in the project. It is on display in the Guildhall, along with information about the subject matter of each panel, how the work was carried out, and some of the working drawings. In order to protect the tapestries, the lighting in the room is subdued, and flash photography isn't allowed. Looks really good. Not sure why this is mostly unknown. Needs a more open venue maybe ferens. Could be a council thing, saying that where is the Rugby League one??
