We have a sobering run of league fixtures coming up -

    Sheff Wed (h)
    Birmingham 6th (a)
    Ipswich 10th (h)
    Brighton 3rd (a)
    Leeds 17th (h)
    Bolton bottom (h)
    Burnley 2nd (a)

Looking at the fixtures, I reckon RD's plan is to pray Fry (I can't be bothered to spell his name properly) will nick 1-2 points before the back to back home fixtures v Leeds and Bolton. One of these two is a possible draw, creating the perfect chance to announce Fry has proven himself and has got the job. We will then go to Turf Moor and high flying Burnley will batter us.

The down side to this scenario is that we will be adrift at the bottom of the league by December <cheers>

With Fry & the same players around for the above 7 fixtures, I can't see us getting more than 5 points. Leaving us on 15 points near Xmas <laugh>

    Blackpool 2014 territory....

He'll last the season I fear.

We'll be down to 6k attendances by then, easily.

Hopefully sacked Sunday after another 3-0 lose, but i fear we will last either the season or until the Jan window opens when Riga comes back or Peeters and buy i mean be given more rejects from the network, then they will be sacked with 6 games to go then another mate in the network will come in for the remaining games.

The back to back home games in 4 days v Leeds and Bolton look massive.

We need Nigel Pearson or Dave Jones - someone of that calibre in the dug out by then.

Watching Bolton the other day on the tv they would smash us. We are just so bad it's embarrassing to watch (hence why I have stopped going)

I had the Leeds game down for our first win under Fry, but news that Cellini wants out (so he says) has bucked them up, and Bolton will have sacked Neil Lennon by the time we play them, so they'll have a new manager in place. How long Fry lasts depends on how long it takes Roland to work out a way of shuffling his managerial pack.

I think Cellino has done a U-turn and said the club is no longer up for sale.

He and RD would make a great sitcom.

WAiting for Fry to get the bullet is an entertaining sideshow, that's all. No-one will be celebrating his sacking, the next one will be another Belgian and might be even worse. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when the players are talking among themselves, but not as much as when Cuddles is talking to Roland. Pity that the heyday of phone hacking is gone.

For anyone who has Twitter, BBC reporter @Murray_Burnell is interviewing Fry at lunchtime, and has asked fans for questions.

    I have suggested a couple <laugh>

    Please do the same...

I was in Leeds for a meeting on Tuesday and went along to the match against Cardiff at Elland Road. They appear to be league above us under of all people, Steve Evans. He has managed to bring belief back into what is not a bad squad. The goal was well taken and Leeds had several good chances which Chris Woods managed to waste by repelling the ball like the wrong pole of a magnet. If he regains confidence we would not stand a hope in hell against that Leeds team. Comparing their play against our best performance of the season we would not win.

Some people say "don't make it personal against Fry" but he has demonstrated in his first two games that he is laughably out of his depth both tactically and in terms of his communications.

One fan at the MKD told me we finished the game playing 4-0-5 with no midfield, just long balls smashed thru a 60 yard wasteland where most teams have a midfield.

Only an experienced manager has any chance of keeping us out of League One with these players.

With Fry we have no chance. He is just not up to it.

Fry has urged fans to "do their job" on Saturday and support the team.

This guy has worse PR than Katie Hopkins

Alarmingly - the person who mentioned Fraeye was to be appointed on a FT contract mentioned he was to make a plea for fans to ''do their job''. Those exact words.

I didn't believe that part at the time thinking it was a bit far fetched. Should have realised nothing surprises me when it comes to CAFC.

What a cheeky b*****d. 5minutes after coming into the club he's telling us what to do. Shades of pardew here.Blaming the fans in advance, getting his excuses ready and publicly criticising a player's attitude. McAleny's an easy target and he shouldn't have said it.

The chap was asking the right questions, instead of muppets like Mendez, Groome and Cawley! It's so clear to see that he has the job full time and he knows it.

"Hoping the supporters will support us".Doesn't sound too sure, sounds like pardew, and if so he'll be saying after the game "after we went 2 goals down the fans made it very difficult for us"

I've had a few beers with Mendez over the years. He's a nice chap. Problem is, some people don't want to stick their neck out, that can cost you a career.
