All depends on the humidity. I was in the Moave Dessert back in 2013 and it was 48 deg. It was ****ing hot, but it's a dry heat and it was windy too. Like standing under a warm hand drier. Not too unpleasant, although you wouldn't want to be out in it for more than a couple of hours. Compare that with 35 degrees in the jungle in Venezuela and it's ****ing unbearable. You feel like you literally cannot breathe because the air is so thick. If you walk more than a few paces you are soaked through with sweat and then there's the bugs that want to feast on your clammy skin.
