Just prepared a first class Indian meal to finish the day..... Starters, yoghurts, veg curry, dahl dish, stuffed parathas and more..... all with fresh herbs and spices........ and getting better with every meal!! Night all.... sweet dreams
Morning all. Another wet start to the day and it doesn't look as though it will stop until tonight. Never mind I might get and finish some of the inside jobs. I put a new external electrical socket in a couple of weeks ago, but ran out of time before I could tidy up the cables on the inside of the house. Do that then the tools can be put back where I might find them next time they are needed. My old forge building is waiting for me to finish off the painting I started a while back, but never had the time to finish. Always plenty to do no matter what the weather throws at us. Enjoy your day.
Morning all. It is grey and cold with rain expected within the hour. Lots of metallic noise coming from the farm for the past hour as they move the steel cattle pens around before cleaning the barn out. Cattle are still being fed even when they are outside, and where a feeder is set up in a field within the day there is a quagmire all around it. Because everywhere is so wet many of the newborn lambs are kept indoors, only coming out when the sun is helping to dry things up. There have been a number of towns in the country where flooding has occured, but nowhere near the scale of the disaster that has hit parts of England and Wales. I suspect that we might be in for a long dry summer to even things up. Enjoy your day whatever the weather.
Morning all. Light rain just started to fall, so within five minutes the road is wet again. It is due to warm up again, so that means the grass will get even longer along my green lane, and I will probably have to get the strimmer to it before the mower. News here over the coronavirus, is there much else happening, is that the government is passing a regulation today to fix the price of handwash seeing as a few traders had been trying to cash in by asking silly prices. They are also taking control of all safety items such as face masks to ensure that medical staff in hospitals and home visitors can have some protection. Simple quick things to do to try and get this thing under control. Have a good day everyone.
Very good to see you here BB. I have missed your descriptive walks along the coast. I would join with Dave in hoping that the knees are performing well.
Thank you - my knees are performing well, although I don't do much walking at the moment - had a little accident at work a while back which laid me low for a while. It also made me decide to retire, so I'm a man of leisure these days - but only when all the household chores that my wife delegated to me are done...
