Morning all. A bright day, but a heavy frost. I see that Lawro has us down to lose tonight, not for any great logical reason, but simply because he thinks we will have to lose sooner or later. Bah humbug!

Morning all. Some frost overnight, but not nearly as heavy as the previous night. Talking to one of my friends who has just returned from England where he went to record some music. He arrived at his hotel in Dover at 11.30pm, parked his car, and went back to it at 7.00am the next morning. The passenger window had been smashed to get entry into it, and it appeared that an attempt had been made to start it. He reported it to the police and went in search of a company to replace the window. Sorry we cannot get the glass before tomorrow, so he had to leave it with them and spend another night at the hotel. Next morning while he was having breakfast an e-mail from the police arrived to tell him that there was nothing they could do as there was no CCTV footage available, therefore the case was closed. He did get to record his music, but the costs were horrible with an extra hotel night and a days lost studio time.
I hope that everyone has a problem free day.

Amazing how a simple job just doesn't work out as planned. A simple change of one very old fluorescent fitting for a new one. Holes in different places to fit to the ceiling, stupid little connectors that you cannot get your fingers near, and a diagram that doesn't tell you which wire your need to attach the live wire to. What should have been half an hour maximum turned into a three hour fight. Still it is now working, and I only received one shock when I forgot to isolate the supply. Good job there was no football or cricket to interrupt as I might have still been there.

Will someone tell SH I have him on ignore again and do not see his posts, and magically, his threads. I do not experieince him as kind, have seen only one act of kindness from him in all the time he has been on here, but have seen him contiune to rile people with his posts. I want no part of it .It does not bring anything positive to my day.
