Morning all. Already warm and it is expected to be around 30°C later. The elderly couple who live down the road are out doing their gardening before the sun comes round from behind their house, but apart from them everything is very quiet and still. The 2,000 litres of rainwater I collected down the fields has just about gone, so it is now a case of taking barrels of water along a bumpy grass lane to avoid losing my vegetables. It is little wonder that my shoulders were complaining last night. Have a good day whatever you are planning.
Massive storm last night in Murcia, local airport closed this morning and motorway under several feet of water. I'm hoping our flight is delayed on Sunday as I can only watch 20 Minutes of the game if on time.
Hope all are well. Mexican independance this Sunday night, Monday is a day off - party time this weekend. OFH - I put a match thread up, if you are doing another can delete mine no probs. Enjoy the weekend all ¡¡VIVA MEXICO CABRONES!!
This afternoon made it to the top of the puy de Mary.. A very hard slog at my age.. And this evening we are in an old merchant's house in the centre of salers. We bought two great chunks of salers and Cantal cheeses from a farm this morning. We have just eaten at a local and recommended eatery and we're toasted and given a free carafe of the local by a group of people who were determined we had a great time.. And not one mention of Bxxxxt.... Wonderful.... Just been to see the full moon rise over the mountains.. And back to our hotel to get a little network and read the good news from the test.... Night all.....
I could enjoy that! Next spring: Yorkie travels in Corsica.. Have a good day one and all... And COYH!
Morning all. Sunny and warm again, but a little bit of breeze at the moment. Tomorrow it is the Sunday with friends dinner, and there must be quiet a few going as I have been asked to choose from the menu to help the chef prepare. The choices are really rather good and it is difficult to make a decision, but I have, sent them on, and by tomorrow midday will have forgotten what they were. Enjoy your day whatever is on your menu.
I see that Watford tops the list, with Hemel a close third for car insurance claims in the entire country. Anyone suggest why this might be?
