Hello all. It's wet and miserable here, but despite that jerzeypie and his mum are going to watch the Jersey Reds rugby match. I've got a cold, and youngest is not really interested in sports, apart from the rare visits we make to see the Cardiff Devils.
ditto with the cold, frankly mine is verging on man flu, not much sympathy yet from those around me, I might have to lay on the symptoms a bit more!! I even had to make the coffees as usual.
Why do those Canaries make it so uncomfortable??? 2-0 up, cruising. Let's give 'em a goal. Now 2-2. C'mon Pukki
I need a cuppa to calm the nerves. How about for the next one they cruise to a 3-0 lead then shut up shop playing those little triangles they play so well in the fitst 45 mins of games. And I thought being a 'orn was nerve racking. But now it does look although the top 2 could break clear and leave a little breathing space. That pint at the Vic is still on Dave
Morning all, sunshine and showers forecast for today, and they might just be right looking at the sky. Off to have a wander round the Christmas Market in town. Sometimes there will be something that you might buy, but there are samples of everything to taste, with handmade chocolates, fresh goats cheese, and locally produced wine. Most of it is on the expensive side, but the general noise and atmosphere is worth the visit.
Probably better than the 'German' Xmas Market in Leeds selling the same tack year on year.. Or am I just grumpy? Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Just grumpy. Nothing like a big fat bratwurst with mustard. Here blue sky but very fresh. And few christmas fairs yet. But here in Spain Christmas runs to midnight, 6th January (Los Reyes - The Kings) so more time to play with here. Turkey still 2.95 Euros a kilo.
Morning all, bright and sunny again this morning. I have a bit of pruning to do as some of Mme's plants have rather taken over the bird feeder. The feeder is sat outside the dining room window and it is interesting to watch which are the more passive birds that wait their turn, and those that muscle in. Despite there being plenty for all, some always want to have more than their fair share. Bit like humans really.
Morning all. Rather misty and murky at present, but the sun is due to appear during the morning, although it is not forecast to be very warm. Once again the holly seems to have very few berries on it, and you do need a sprig to put on the Christmas pudding. Need to carry the secateurs around on my travels, so I can cut a piece when I see it.
