Morning, Dave; morning, all. Back into the work routine, now I’m walking again without crutches. It’s amazing how you forget the value of something as simple as being able to transport yourself independently.
Morning all. Like yesterday it is cloudy, but very mild. I am pleased to say that Mme's car started first time this morning despite it being stood still for a week. Virtually all the leaves have come of the wisteria in the back garden now, so maybe another collection of them will see it tidied up for the last time this autumn.
Morning all..... well at least we ended up with some pride last night.... could have been so much worse
Good morning, Sir Dave; ‘morning, all. Would you Adam and ****ing Eve it? Been in cast for six weeks. Now out of cast, walking without crutches, revelling in driving again (don’t worry, it’s safe, I checked my ability to brake and move to different pedal - funnily enough, it’s better than before because no heel pain now), back at work and loving it, and I’ve come down with almighty bloody cold. Well, I don’t know what to call it, I’m usually very well indeed. Temperature, throbbing headache, very sore throat. Nasal area all fine. But, boy, am I pissed off! Great performance from the boys last night, I thought.
Morning all. Bright and sunnyish this morning and not cold. Trying to decide on what we will do today. Mme is getting ahead of herself and thinking about Christmas shopping. If she comes to a conclusion I might be eating out at lunchtime.
Hi yorkie. I had a Haglund deformity removed. That’s when the healbone grows a spur, or point, at the back which stabs the bursa into eventual submission! Detachment of the Achilles, moving bursa to one side, shaving off excess heelbone, then reattached bursa and then Achilles with screw into heelbone. Healing really well, but it remains a little sore. What’s a big two fusion?
ROLLLLL ON FRIDAYYYYYYYYY ROLLLLL ON XMASSSSSSSSSS & THE JANNNN VISIT OF ME OLD MANNNNNN Hope all are well.
Been a busy day, and after the lovely sunshine of yesterday quite a damp squib today. It is so mild that many of the spring flowering plants seem to think that we have got there already. Suspect they might have a shock later.
Morning all. Very windy here, and the clouds are moving across the sky at quite a pace, allowing periods of bright sunshine. Went to buy some stamps yesterday afternoon to send some cards to friends in the UK. The shop had run out of them. Chatting to the owner he said that all the Brits had been in for them this week. I could have gone to the Post Office, but they close at 3.30 pm, so too late.
Morning all. Quite a stiff breeze again this morning, with sunshine and showers. Looking at my newspaper I see that Père Noel is already busy going around the local schools. Yesterday the decorations were switched on in town, and the Christmas market is now open. Tomorrow the secondary school that my youngest granddaughter attends will be performing on the stage set up in the market. I hope that it will stay dry for them.
