to all the hornet family. Here the very last log has gone into the fire. Bring on summer Now the last 10% of my time travel novel. Hope the ending doesn't disappoint but in truth there are so many hops through time it may end with the beginning Goodnight all.
I’ll say there’s a lot of time-travelling - I’ve just read the ending and turns out you’ve written ‘Robinson Crusoe’.
Morning all. More rain overnight, but the sky looks a little brighter at this moment in time. "Averses localement orageuses" forecast for this afternoon, so gardening is back on hold. I have been told that as I will not be out doing my things, then there is some shopping that Mme would like to do. Better get the wet gear out.
Tis odd. They keep forecasting that it will come to an end but last night we had storms and downpours. And tomorrow they now forecast 24 hours of rain (a little sun at the moment so presumably the lull before the storm). Hopefully Yorkie that is coming up from you and you can expect a few days of sun. Although we are 450 miles north of you. Maybe too far for a direct connection. ps Just been shown a radar of Morocco and it is more than 50% rain covered. Bet that doesn't happen often. You do pick your holiday dates well Yorkie
Rains are needed before the summer months, get the reservoirs filled up. That reminds me must get some beers in for later
Shocking I know! Been raining on and off all day... Cold too.. Back home tomorrow evening Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
Morn'in all. Well my spanish niece is flying from Madrid to Stanstead (Ryanair charter) at this very moment, then on to Norwich for a 5 day stay with a family. I suspect she will learn very little english and just have a good time but I guess we were all 13 once. She will stay with her spanish best friend with a couple who have no children but 3 dogs. I had imagined that it would be some kind of exchange deal but obviously not. Here our 24 hours of rain is no where to be seen, but there is still time. Well busy day what with rugger and footie
Morning all from a sunny at present rural France. Watched French football last night and there was mayhem at a number of games. Red cards in abundance, with one game of nine aside for almost the entire second half. There are two teams from Corsica in the same league who had a local derby, played in torrential rain. The pitch had so much surface water that the ball would not run. I am sure it would have been called off these days in England, but I do remember how years ago it was not unusual to play in such conditions.
