Good luck Dave. I am 35 and was pissing blood for 5 - 6 days last year. I was given meds to speed up the blood flow, heal the veins and disinflame the bladder. It worked and subsided after 6 days on the meds. I still have no idea why it happened. But yeah I was thinking the worst, even gave the Mrs my bank account pins! I was touched by Jesus during the process a few times, twice gloved and once not. It wasn´t a religious thing, I had to pay for the pleasure as he was the doc. Stay positive Dave.
My aches after yesterday's exertions seem very minor, and I wish everyone who is suffering at present relief of pain and worry. My computer has returned from hospital with a new hard drive. Lots of stuff to be put back onto it now. Just put up a match thread for Saturday, with many thanks to Fez and Mex for taking over at short notice. I wonder if we will have another long discussion about the Leicester game?
Everyone on here wishes you get better soon .They can do so much more these days. we are all thinking of you dave
Could be worse - you could be under the care of Vicarage Rd medical team. You'd miss your summer holiday too...
Looking back, I panicked and hoped for the best but really feared the worse. My advice now is this, don't worry about it until you know for sure with the results, even then all is cureable. If we look on the net it'll tell us we either have a cold or tomorrow spontanious combustion is upon us. In the meantime sit tight Dave!
Good morning all from a cold and dry Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day! Thanks Mex, I'm trying to remain positive, they told me on Monday that it could be a number of things so the odds are stacked against it being worst case scenario. Sadly, it doesn't stop a little niggle of doubt.
Morning all. Currently dry with some quick flashes of the sun, but showers forecast for later. I am not sure that it will pay off, but we have changed some of our very old refrigerating equipment for new energy saving ones. External sizes are still very much what they used to be, but because of additional insulation the interiors are smaller. Freezers that do not ice up are a boon. During the summer with our high temperatures icing up can happen very quickly.
Afternoon all - so much for a nice day off work. I had to collect my monthly prescription, then go to my mobile supplier as my contract had expired, so have a new phone, which I'm struggling to get used to. I also switched my phone line and broadband to them as Jersey Telecom are becoming ridiculously expensive. I have then tried visiting all the letting agents in St Helier today. This morning, before all of that, I sent a message to jerzeypie who is on a skiing holiday in Switzerland with his Grandad telling him that it has been wet and windy this week and to allow for the possibility that his boat back from St. Malo will be delayed. The problem with that is that he's flying back here from Geneva!
Morning, Dave; morning, all. Life is breakneck right now - feel like a pinball! Tough game for us today. Reckon your lad Edwards will get a run out, Dave? It looks like a tough one for you, too.
Just been back a few pages. Sorry I missed about your condition, Dave. Obviously the boys, Mrs Andy and I, wish you all the very best. I'm sure there’s a myriad of potential causes. Anyway, thinking of you, pal.
Morning all. Well another Saturday but I'm less enthused than normal. Would have felt happier if a certain hornet had ran to the ref saying "Sorry but I handled that". But I guess cheating is part and parcel of today's game. But let's see what the day brings. Just hope the hornets don't get badly mauled by the foxes and that the Canaries stay away from those sharp objects from the steel city. Here looks like a sunny 18C but, having lived near Cadiz a while now that seems cold to me Although at 9pm last night taking a sherry with a mate in the village it was a pleasant 14C. Guess temps are all in the mind, or swayed but what is in the glass. Anyway enjoy one and all
