Morning all, bright and sunny and thankfully dry. Ten years ago I brought our large chest freezer over, and it has sat in the barn ever since without being used. It has to be thirty or more years old, and is looking the worst for wear. I need the space and tomorrow have the chance to get it taken away. The only problem is getting to it as over the years more and more has been stored over and around it. Looks like a busy day ahead.
LOL - one of my longest standing lady friends and I had our first conversation in German for half an hour - I thought she was Austrian and she thought I was German (wowsers on my German at 18, go me) before we figured it out!
You want to hope they don't miss then... Up here we have a fleet of about a dozen oil tankers sheltering in the bay. It seems that there is a massive storm out to sea - I'm hoping it stays out there.
Morning all. Damp outside again, but the street light did go out at 8.17am one minute earlier than yesterday. Managed to get my old chest freezer out of the barn yesterday, bringing muscles into use that I had forgotten about. They are reminding me of their existence this morning.
Commiserations Dave just losing by a good penalty save. Norwich kept Chelsea at bay for 4 hours and got 2 of their players sent off because they were frustrated and wound up Conte something rotten - Result I would say. Now concentrate on getting promoted.
Nice 6" layer of snow outside from 2 nights ago, beautiful. Bucket loads of snow in the alps and it looks like I am going to miss out on skiing this year as I am waiting for a hernia op and its a 6 week recovery period.
I am seeing a surgeon next week about my big toe.. Apparently one can be out of action for months.. And hill walking is my main exercise [emoji20] Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk

I've been peeing blood for a few weeks now, I had a cystoscopy last Monday and there was so much debris in the bladder that he couldn't see properly. Hopefully the blood test results should be available on Tuesday to please God rule out cancer.
Dave, hopefully no sign of cancer. My father -in law did have bladder cancer which was successfully treated without too much problem. So keep spirits up.
