Morning all, a bright but chilly start to the day. Wasted hours yesterday with O2. They reset their systems and now can't get payment from my bank for my mobile phone because I have a French address. They are supposed to be an international company yet have an antiquated UK system. The people in the so called help center are totally mindless, offering a cheaper deal when you cannot pay for what you have already. Cancelled my contract and will leave it up to them to suggest how I can pay the very small balance. I don't think I will miss them.
Morning all from a cold and dry island. Had a call from jerzeypie during the second half yesterday, letting me know that he got to his Grandad in the Charente-Maritime that morning at about 2 or 3 CET, which given that he would've arrived in St Malo at about 8.30pm meant that the drive down took the usual length of time. He's off to Switzerland today with his Grandad and a couple of family friends for a skiing holiday.
Morning all. Grey but dry here, so might put the wellies on and do a tour of the far boundaries of the estate. Being a part timer I don't have to do much outside if the weather is poor, but the professional food grower has lots of his inside polytunnels these days.
OK you lovely people, I'm off to bed! Night all Night H I have a day full of hospital tests starting early in the morning, hopefully there will be some good news by late afternoon! Fingers crossed!
Evening all, just to let you all know i will be pretty much offline for the next almost 2 weeks, the sunshine is beckoning . Obviously M Frenchy will be here as ever to keep the forum as calm as ever..thank goodness for M Frenchy! Play nice all, and let's hope we can do the double on Saturday! ...we can hope! mmmwah! (Dave, hope all has gone well with the tests, double mmwah!)
Morning all. Rather cloudy and quite nippy outside. In my wanderings around the estate yesterday in a nice sunny corner I found that some daffodils are just about to open. What with that and dusk coming later Spring must be just around the corner.
Article about Graham Taylor in Saturday's Daily Telegraph, you will have to register to read it, but that would be no bad thing http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/01/12/watford-could-do-old-graham-taylor-magic-today/
OK you lovely people, I'm off to bed! Night all Night H Tests inconclusive, I have to go back for a CT scan and another cystoscopy under anesthetic so I have to wait a bit longer to find out what the problem is.

Morning all. Wet, windy and miserable out there today. Talking to a lady yesterday in a mixture of French and English. I thought she was French until she said that English is much easier to learn. Turned out she was Egyptian.

Thanks kc, tests were inconclusive, I have to go back for a CT scan and another cystoscopy under general anesthetic.
