Morning all from a wet Jersey. It should make the Jersey Rally this evening and tomorrow more interesting. I wonder how many cars will be in Trophy competition tomorrow. This is for those who go out today, are able to repair their cars to pass scrutineering this evening and are designated by a "T" before the number on the car.
Morning all from a cloudy island. It stopped raining not long after I posted yesterday morning, so by the time the rally started, the roads would have been dry and they certainly will be today as a decent day is forecast. All credit to this footballers wife who has shown bravery in talking about one of the hardest and most upsetting periods in her life and also puts things like political squabbles in context::https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/mi...-choice/ar-AAtpiLo?li=AAmiR2Z&ocid=spartanntp
That makes me sad and angry in equal measures, if there truly is a God, how on earth can He allow this to happen? There's no justification at all!
Morning all. It is a beautiful day outside just right for going for a decent walk, but I am not sure that it would be a good idea as my antibiotics are having an undesirable effect on my stomach. My local team won last night against the top of the table side. Looking at comments from both sets of fans the person who really impressed was the ref. Judging by the number of yellow cards it must have been a fairly robust affair, but it all ended in harmony. The ref was a lady.
Morning all, looks like we will be back into the 27°C + day today. Monthly dinner with football friends. I think I will enjoy the banter.
Back last night from a hot and sunny long weekend in Limousin... very pleasant..... but could barely get any scores.... but happy to have a phone celebration with Frenchie
The wind is building up to a crescendo but there is no rain. It's weird looking out of the window it's rather like looking at a sepia photo! please log in to view this image
If you were living in Queensland, you would have been told to put packaging tape over all those windows - to avoid shattered glass in the rooms.
According to the husband of one of my colleagues, the wildfires in Portugal and Spain being fanned by Ophelia are also part of the reason.
