Ive taken it upon myself to start a thread where we can shout, swear and discuss who we hate/blame during the 'fall out'. This way we can focus all our negativity in oné area, who knows we may find some creative insults. Ill start the ball rolling; I hate Krueger. My reasons are 1. He took the job knowing he would be chairman yet pretended it just 'worked out that way' 2. I tried to like him but couldnt, banging on about hockey and having many stitches in his face- we dont ****ing care! 3. His announcements were crap- did nothing to settle nerves, no sincerity, continued use of american management phrases. 4. I dont like his name. Someone také the batton...
Cortese for trying to take on the owner. It's a weird one because at the same time, he gave us the journey of the last 5 years, for which I am hugely thankful. Cortese came in and there was pretty much nothing on the footballing side at senior level in 2009. He built a team, a spirit, promised our youngsters the world and made it clear no one was irreplaceable (sorry Alan and Nigel), but Cortese himself. We flew up the league and he delivered on every promise he made to them. They got to higher levels and became richer in the process. Mauricio makes the players believe more than ever before, they get into World Cup/national squads and make a big name for themselves at the top. Cortese goes and who do players trust? Well, Mauricio of course. But then he goes and what ties are there to keep them here with interest from those above? None, sadly.
I don't like Tottenham Hotspur for turning MoPo's head and basically poaching him, though he was complicit & willing in the end, if Levy hadn't turned his greedy eyes on him, then a good Saints team might have become great. And Levy only got his job because Tottenham's owner(Joe somebody) is his god-father, (Lewis?). So, I hope they get relegated and Pochettino is sacked pdq. Ta Dah!
I kind of hate cortese. But cant really hate him. Beginning to hate Katherina, as much as i can understand any business owner wanting a return on their investment.
Thats why I created it, if people want to be reactionary vent spleen and hate then they can. If people want to try and see the positives in our current situation then I suggest they dont come on here. Maybe create a Love thread?
I don't actually hate him. He annoys me, let's put it like that. Someone needs to be blamed for this latest debacle and I choose him
Very good Chilco. I used to wonder, myself. Then he said something in that way of his, and I got it. I think he's better on radio [can't see that face]. Then again, most of them are. I was only thinking the other day, while watching an edition of Blazil [Gary Lineker's Daily World Cup video blog] on BBC Sport, that Mr Lineker is perhaps the modern day successor to David Coleman. He is the most intelligent, erudite, non-belligerent, natural sports presenter of the age. His talks to camera are so conversational and knowledgeable that one is occasionally feeling [perhaps realising] that he is speaking just to you. Just try any Blazil blog to find out.
