In five games at Colchester he has scored one screamer and created seven other goals... when he joined Colu were 23rd and now they are 12th.
    .
    .
    .
    because?....
    1) he needs to be loved ... or
    2) League 1 is his level?

    <cheers>

I think he club have done Harriott a huge disservice. He's been unlucky in that he's had 5 different managers in the period that he's been trying to establish himself in, and that clearly makes it difficult to garner any consistency (especially in a position that some coaches tactics do not always allow for).

When he has played he's always demonstrated potential, although it often looks like he is playing off instinct and hasn't been coached properly. He's only 21 still, and I think will have a bit of the Jamal Campbell Ryce about him in that he'll be a championship standard player by the time he's in his late twenties; a standard that would have been enhanced with good solid coaching.

The weirdest thing about Harriott is that Powell never played him in the League One Championship season. Not once.

Being booed on to the pitch by a section of our own fans can't help any young player. Or the fact that our manager seems to have little belief in him. But maybe the fact that Col U play 4:3:3. helps him, he used to play in a front 3 under Nathan Jones. And from the clips that I've seen he's not been shoved out to the right, as happened a lot at Charlton, with the same results every time- he played badly. I'm glad he's doing well and has become popular there, better that than being a scapegoat at Charlton.

Decent achievement that considering the pool of players selected from. We've had players in the championship team of the week, but can't recall in the football league one.

My old mate Parky's job must be in danger. With their gates, Bradford City ought to be higher than two points off a relegation spot.

A classic case of a player (finally) finding his natural level. Harriott lacks the footballing intelligence to play any higher than League One.

His final ball makes Makienok look like Iniesta or Xavi .

He's provided 7 assists at Colchester, some of them very very good, better than anything I've seen at Charlton recently.

In the summer I pushed for him to be sold. Now, it's best we hang on to him. He could come in very useful next season..

i really dislike the harriotts. reason being is his ego. he's too comfortable at charlton, at colchester he'll have a manager who's telling him to do things that he doesnt usually do. like pass, cross and beat a man. if only he could do that for us, along with stopping pretending to be a footballer and actually being one

I can't see why he'd want to come back if ColU want to keep him.Guy (Fergie) Luzon doesn't like him anyway, although who knows or cares who our manager will be by then. He's got just as much chance of playing in the Championship with ColU as with us.

True, not to mention the dodgy 'keeping of the same Brad Jones that we were after. But when was the last time you saw a Charlton player sending a through ball to a striker? And the LM spot is now between Berdich and Cousins.

I should hope not as neither are left midfielders, but then again we are charlton so it wouldn't suprise me.

I would like to see Moussa get a start against Fulham, he is very direct, has pace, can take a player on and God knows we certainly need a player like that. He will also bring goals to the team, which we also lack, and we can't rely on JBG and our strikers (I use this term very loosely) aren't up to much.

Despite constantly bigging him up, I can confirm I am not Franck.
