With tensions high in Ukraine and an airliner missing in asia its a glum old world. Not quite so gloomy as the arsenal board though which takes the biscuit for over dramatic ridiculous responses to everything. Whilst I am disappointed with the Chelsea result (and I was a right grumpy **** all day) I will wait to see how our season pans out before jumping to any conclusions about this team, wenger or our chances of silverware. There are still several games to be played and there will be more twists and turns yet I'm sure. By all means continue to "discuss" (and I use the term loosely as it's mainly just ranting and raving and throwing around insults) what you think about the club, team, manager etc.. And I do understand the issues about tactics etc before a couple of our more immature posters jump down my throat. But this thread is for happy thoughts. Whilst the board and the world may be overrun with negativity at the moment, there is always room for a smile or a ray of sunshine. Welcome to the silver linings thread. We're still in the the FA cup and have a very good chance of winning a trophy. We have also got 4th place sawn up. So not all bad....

Maybe, but its because of her making changes to the fiscal system in this country that we've enjoyed 30+ years of relative prosperity, except the few years Blair and his cronies ****ed up. My happy thought is they've gone and I've never had life as good as now thanks to the current government

I love Sunday roast With all the trimmings. Sitting listening to the rain pelting down with a cat on my knees is a nice way to spend an afternoon as well.
