Hello Manchester United fans, I'm here to make a request that some of you are already familiar with. Having thought about the forum in general and thinking how it could go forward, I am requesting to become a moderator of the Manchester United board. The reason I ask this is because after a discussion with fellow not606 people on the chat box, it has become clear that a few Man Utd fans would like to see me more involved with their discussions, bringing an unbiased view to the table, and for the ability to keep the discussion purely on Manchester United. I may be a Bolton fan, but I know about all Premier League clubs as much as anyone else and I know what is acceptable and what is not acceptable on here, but some people sometimes take it too far and I would like to rectify that. Please consider me in the role as a Manchester United mod on here, as I'm well known with the Utd fans on here and they already consider this a better selection than one of the mods currently here, who is unactive at this time. Thanks, The Guy (previously known as Bolton For Europe!)
Well, I think we should hold a meeting to discuss this with our fellow Manchester United supporters involved. It's a matter that clearly needed to be brought up. As you all know, one of our moderators hasn't been active for a while. The Guy seems like a genuine fair user, I don't see why he shouldn't become a moderator. If we want to move forward and over take BBC 606, we should be making changes that will improve the site.
It doesn't need to be that complicated. I feel if we just push things forward, make the bad things noticeable so we can change them, that would be enough to improve the site. If I become mod, I'll be open to pass on suggestions. It's the sort of thing we need
From my point of view, the fairest way to do this is by creating a poll and entering those that wish to become a moderator.
I don't know if we can make a poll, that is the problem. Kam is going for the Arsenal board and the rest were being sarcastic, so we have yet to find anyone else, meaning we cannot make a poll.
I see no harm in this guy being put on a trial period. He seems like a fair lad, so he's got my vote.
