Can't see any other threads on this. Today's Guardian has a piece/interview with Steve Bruce, it seems a very balanced and positive piece about him and the club - and Bruce is in effect saying we won't repeat what happened last time we got up in terms of finances (which is very good to hear)
There is an article on the Daily Mail website as well: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Hull-rejuvenated-boss-bouncing-big-time.html (Watch it be the exact same article...)

The journalist should of asked Bruce for his reponse when he mentioned " Nick Proschwitz, the £2m German striker who has been the only Bruce flop". That would of been interesting. He certainly wouldn't of publicly agreed with him. A good read though.
I loathe Alan Green the 5live commentator so laughed out loud when i read the Guardian article Steve Bruce ' I was thinking "do I want to be sitting beside Alan Green" ...... the Hull job had been offered to me...... i was thinking "i'm going to give it a crack" I'd rather be managing than commentating' Well yes Steve I hope managing us is better than sitting next to that opinionated twat!!!
Great article that in the Guardian, cheers for posting! Comments are interesting too on the story! Alan Green might not be best pleased when he reads that, can't fault Bruce missing management having to sit next to that self-righteous know it all!
When promotion is sealed we should all tweet/text Five Live asking them to thank Alan Green for his part in putting together our promotion push.
Who would have thought Alan Green would play his part in us getting back to the Premiership, hope he hears about this, quite a funny story!
