The only exception is if we have 24 or fewer non established players, this is defined by players over the age of 21 making 5 or more appearances for the club. I believe we do fit into this category with less than 24. As we have under 24 we are allowed to sign a player but pay him no more than £11.5k a week - The big downside is NO transfer fee of any kind, not even a loan fee, yes we can bring a new face in but only on a free transfer. Really, can we see any free transfers worth having in January?
If there's a contract available in the summer, I don't see why not but like I've said, our January business is always **** anyways
As far as I'm aware loan fees are not typically paid by clubs in our situation. More in cases where Falcao goes to scum for a season If we are taking a player from a prem team on loan to get his fitness/form back or give them some professional experience or even they just simply have too many players for their squad numbers then there shouldn't really be a fee should there?
Why? we are doing the club a favour almost by paying the player's wages and also giving him game time where they wouldn't get it at their parent club, especially in the case of a young player needing experience. And the agent's fee wouldn't count towards a transfer/loan fee anyway would it?
If we deal with the clubs there is no need for any agents fee,and as lots of championship teams can only afford £2000-£3000 [millwall] wages the fact we can pay more would be a big advantage.
Feck loans, January is a **** time to do business,we can't even buy, Stick with what weve got, Might be a relegation fight but hey at least it won't be boring.
I wouldn't have thought so but I don't know what position we are in when it comes to loan players, I think we are only permitted one loan player as that will take us to our full quota of loans?
Im afraid lads, loans are players other teams dont want generally or players recovering from injury. They aint gonna add anything to the show Im afraid
You paid a loan fee for Gradle and Delph and sent Barkley back because you couldn't afford to extend his deal
Because the fl say you can pay 600k a year wages doesnt mean you have it you have to trim 15m first not up it if you want this embargo lifted you need to get players out not in, what you can do, and what you need to do, are 2 different things
We have already cut the wages massively and Hunt and maybe Austin will be gone in jan freeing up loads of money.
So if we have the funds for wages which we do we can sign England internationals no problem, where as you can't because you can't afford the wages.Just what I've been telling you for months.
yes you sacked the tea lady but your squad numbers went up rent on ER gone up rent on TA gone up 15m over spent and you guys want more players in so unless getting shot of Hunt and Austin saves you 15m you best keep chopping
Because he made hundreds redundant and got rid of most of the high wage earners.Gee you guys are thick if you can't understand somthing so simple
