Kasami's goal has gone viral, which won't do our fanbase any harm and might even sell a few extra shirts. Also, and perhaps fueled by Jol saying it was better than van Basten's, it's getting lots of coverage in the "best ever" category.

So, was this "the best ever Fulham goal" that you've seen?

Personally, every goal that Graham Leggat scored was Fulham's best. And of course, what is meant by "best" is open to debate in itself - importance, skill, team effort and so on. There's a host of goals from our Europa run that would have to qualify, whatever the heading - Bobby against Shakhtar, Clint against Juventus, Simon against Hamburg, just for starters.

However, if the question is limited to Premiership Goals and Spectacular was Kasami's better that Papa Diop against Man Utd or Kamara against Spurs or Bryan against Bolton? Or... ???

Jon Harley v Aston Villa stands out for me, although I still think Kasami's is the best I've seen from a Fulham player.

Kasami's is easily better than Diop or Sidwell, as he hit that volley on the move having run 30 yards. The technique required for that is just incredible. It's the best Fulham goal I've seen.

A close second though is Digger against Hamburg; context matters and that goal both impressive and hugely significant. Also, I would not be surprised if I found out that Haynes scored some crackers!

Not to forget that the left footed Kasami hit it last night with his right

Kasami's was best, but Ruiz v Cardiff and v Everton weren't bad either!

Kasami's is without question the best. The run he made, the control and whilst sprinting volleyed it over the keeper using his weaker foot. Its a shame the shot with the outside of his left foot in the second half didn't go in.

Kasami's is probably the best, for all the reasons everyone has said. Davies' goal vs Hamburg is still my favourite and Ruiz vs Everton the best I've seen in person. That said, I remember Darren Freeman scoring a stunning goal in the first minute of an Auto Windshield trophy (or whatever it was called back then) match in 97-98 season which didn't feature on the official season review video and which I've always wanted to see again. My memory says it was a first time volley from wide on the left, but as I've only ever seen it once - as it was actually happening, at the Putney end with me on the Hammersmith - I don't know if it compares. Do any of the other oldies have a clearer memory? I seem to recall Dirk Lehmann scoring a great league cup goal against Cardiff around the same time and that not appearing on the review video either.

Best goal I've ever seen. 2nd for me would be Dempsey's goal against Juve and then Davis' goal against Hamburg.

Sorry Captain, can't recall that goal by Darren Freeman.

I do remember a very unspectactular one he got against Swansea on a bitterly cold midweek game in February 1997. They were just behind us in the League, had gone umpteen games without defeat and went 1-0 up in the second half. Darren scored the equaliser from close in and we went on to win 2-1. I particularly recall the game because (says he blushing) that was the first time I really believed we would be promoted that season.

PS Wasn't Dirk Lehmann's goal when we famously drew 1-1 with Leigh RMI?

I remember the Swansea game very well, though I don't recall the actual goal. I felt at the time that if we'd lost, we would have let Swansea back in and would probably miss out on an automatic promotion, whereas the 3pts gave us enough of a cushion to be all-but assured of going up. The Freeman goal has always stuck in my mind because I'd brought a friend along and the goal was virtually the first thing that happened after the kick off. He couldn't believe how good it was and I tried (unsuccessfully) to convince him that we scored goals that good all the time at Fulham.

The Lehmann goal I'm thinking of can't have been the Leigh RMI one, as I wasn't at that game. I think it was the same game where Jeff Eckhardt came on as a sub for Cardiff and got a standing ovation from the Fulham fans on his first return to the Cottage since leaving a couple of years earlier. I'm not sure about that, but I'm certain it was a cup game of some kind, rather than a league match.

With you now Captain. Right at the beginning of the season - Worthington Cup. I know we won 2-1 but do you know, all I can remember is Peter Beardsley; neither of the goals. I think my goal memory bank in that season is stuck on Pesch!

Dirk Lehmans goal in the infamous 1-1 with Leigh RMI was a header, a good header but nothing to spectacular

A few more outstanding goals I can remember that haven't been mentioned.
Colins John away at Middlesborough from a throw-in he caught it on his chest swiveled and volleyed into the top corner.
Wome at Loftus Rd think it was against WBA thrashed it in from outside the area just like the John Hartley goal v Villa.
Peschisolido versus Liverpool in Lge Cup volley one in from just outside the area, then he did the same a few weeks later against ?
Liked the Inamoto goal at Old Trafford in the 3-1 victory. Along with Legwinski's against Tottenham to win 3-2 in the last minutes.
Horsfield against Tottenham in the Lge cup at the cottage as he curled it round the keeper into the corner of the net.
I could go on but I think Kasami's goal has probably gone to my No1

Think Dirk (Porno) Lehmann scored a cracker of a Header against Man City, met a cross with a bullet header into the bottom corner of the net in a 2-1 win.

If you're going for importance versus spectacular, Dempsey's first goal for Fulham (against Liverpool in 2007) saved us from relegation.
