Watched a thing about cricket last night, some Aussie trying to set up his own league in the 80s. Good show. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2311643/
Well, here we are then. Ordinarily I would say win the toss and bat for a couple of days but something in me says if we win it put them in, get the pressure on. Hopefully Cook will be a bit more decisive.
Today's the day then! I was thinking about the toss. The wicket will be very dry, which means the ball will ruff up (ha!) quickly, which means reverse swing early for Jimmy, and means early spin for Swann. Put the ****ers in
Swann takes very few wickets here, but if he is to come into play then it will be on a nice worn day 4/5 pitch (if it goes that long), I would normally agree, sun is out, pitch is nice dry and flat, bat first, but on this occasion I agree with Ruff, put them in, if on a batting track the Aussies are 50odd for 4 at lunch then we know we'll have them by the short and curlies!
It's cloudy at Trent Bridge. That makes it a no-brainer. Win the toss and skittle the horrible convict ****s
