Utter *****s, each and every one of them.

Never mind not understanding what they're protesting against, they cant even ****ing spell their bhanners properly.

Its no wonder the Lurgan Bigot talked them up earlier this season, the wee spaz that he is.

Seriously, if they dont like this country they are more than welcome to swim across the Irish Sea to "ra homeland" I'm sure they'll find a job (no laughing at the back) over there.

Aye aye same old bollocks, either think like us and believe in our politics or **** off back to your own country. The irony is that the politics you hate so much are based around the fact that some Brits wouldn't **** off back to their own country.

It drive's me ****ing bonkers Bartos. Every year we get this thrown at us that we should be ashamed for not supporting the British Legion and everyone around me (I work with mostly English people) give's it the "tut tut, sectarian Celtic fans, nothing is sacred" when actually if you grew up where I did having the same experiences I did (or worse still my parents) then it would seem perfectly reasonable to withhold support for this particular charity. I'm not a nutcase sectarian loon job - I just wish we could leave all this politics (where the club which represents me HAS TO support a military charity) away from Celtic park.

  8. you dont have to support the charity either. a little respect for the people who died for us would be fine.

They didn't die for us, they killed quite a few of us - not so long ago.

Celtic Park is in the United Kingdom. So is Belfast where I grew up.

I'll do a deal, you boys leave Belfast and we'll no longer bring Belfast politics to the mainland.

Mick, theres a difference between not supporting the armed forces (which I understand in your case) and revelling in the bitter, twisted hatred of all things not oirish.

I thought it was a disgrace that banner on Saturday, and that Celtic fans that were abused constantly until they left the ground, simply for wearing a poppy.

By the way I was joking. I know there are a million British people in the north of Ireland who arn't going anywhere - just like there are a few hundred thousand (I believe) Irish people living in the west of Scotland. I have to put up with that fact, have to walk down the road with Union Jacks hanging over head and the British army drive by. You boys only have to put up with a few thousand plastic paddys singing Irish songs at Parkhead. I think you got the better deal.

  19. you act like britain stole northern ireland when in reality they merely stepped in to end the slaughter of irish protestants who wer chased northwards hundreds of years ago

Yeah so the British have a perfectly legitimate right to be in the north of Ireland, and they are outwardly British (indeed many of them very Anti-Irish) refusing to merge with the native 5m Irishmen there are on the rest of island and have every right to do so. But the Irish in Scotland have no right to hold on to their o'Irishness and should conform to the British train of thought, or else **** off back to Ireland.

I'm not condoning the repatriation of all British people in Ireland to Britain - that would be absurd. But quite a lot of you are stating that if Irish people in Scotland want to hold on to Irish beliefs they should **** off back to Ireland - which is equally as absurd.

In terms of why there are so many British people in Ulster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantation_of_Ulster - the majority of them were not chased upwards. Let's not get into who slaughtered who, we'd be here all day. Let's just deal with the current situation.
