From the literal to the proverbial... Newcastle may be able to sign French striker Loic Remy, 27, on a cheap deal because of QPR's financial problems. The Championship club announced a £65m loss in their 2013 accounts last week and will be looking to offload Remy, who has scored 13 times during a loan spell with the Magpies.
